This year, CEO Collison helmed the online payments startup as it launched in Hong Kong and in six European countries. He helped expand Stripe’s partnership with Chinese juggernauts AliPay and WeChat Pay to Stripe’s global customers. Collison also led Stripe’s acquisition of tax reporting company Payable as well as online entrepreneur community Indie Hackers.
Stripe was last valued at $9.2 billion, making Collison and his brother, who co-founded the company in 2010, two of the world’s youngest billionaires.
