AwesomenessTV, which is co-owned by Verizon and Hearst, makes video content — usually short-form videos that work well on mobile platforms. It makes most of its money from YouTube. CEO and founder Brian Robbins has figured out how to market to the elusive teen-and-millennial demographic because everything for the Snapchat generation is both content and marketing: “Our content is marketing ... and our marketing is content.” Watch Robbins onstage with Kara Swisher at Code Media.
