We had two pressing questions before the Baltimore Ravens - Jacksonville Jaguars game that just kicked off in London:
This is how Ravens and Jaguars players responded to Trump during today’s first NFL game
Some protest, lots of arm-linking.

- How would the players respond to Donald Trump’s trolling over the past few days, which started up again Sunday morning?
- Would TV producers show their response?
Now we know. It looks as though players, coaches and team staff on both teams all participated in some form of response, though only some of them appeared to be protesting. And viewers around the world were able to watch it in detail, via Verizon and the NFL’s livestream of the game.
Here’s a quick survey: Note that all of the sideline shots show players and staff — including Jaguars owner Shahid Khan, in the fourth screengrab in this set — linking arms during the “Star Spangled Banner,” while some players also knelt.
Prepare for a day of this. Even New England Patriots owners Bob Kraft, a longtime Trump supporter, has now lined up against the president on this one.
