If you have a corporate job you hate, consider giving Comedy Central’s Corporate, now in its second season, a try. It’s often incredibly funny, possessed of the kind of dark humor that might make the long drudgery of a day at work slightly more bearable. But it’s also laced with a dark and dreary streak, feeling more like a David Fincher film than most other TV comedies. If that sounds at all intriguing to you, check it out immediately. If it doesn’t, know that the series also boasts a pitch-perfect cast, including a bunch of long-time TV all-stars (like The Wire’s Lance Reddick and House’s Anne Dudek) and gives them the chance to cut loose and be incredibly funny. Corporate’s bleakness won’t be for everybody, but the show does its very best to give as many people as possible a window in to its horrors.
