Chris Burkard is an American adventure and travel photographer, author, and director based in California. He is best known for his surf and travel photography, which has taken him all over the world. Some of his most memorable trips, though, are not his daring solo expeditions — they’re the journeys he tackles with friends, usually involving a steep cliff.
