Patrick Boyd is a Senior Audio Engineer at Vox, currently working on Today, Explained and Explain It to Me. Patrick has mixed and sound designed many shows across the network, including Unexplainable, The Highlight, and The Gray Area with Sean Illing. He also has created original music and production elements for many episodes. He previously worked at National Public Radio, where he was the Technical Director of NPR’s Morning Edition and Up First. While there, he also assisted on many NPR productions, including Tiny Desk Concerts. Outside of Vox, Patrick enjoys playing music, mountain biking, and spending time with his family.
