Bookstore hilariously edits Donald Trump’s campaign slogan: “Make America Read Again”

Trend spotter Alex Fitzpatrick discovered this clever hat — made by by Strand Books, the legendary Manhattan used bookstore — which offers a redux of Donald Trump’s campaign slogan for those in need of extra shade:

Trump’s actual slogan only indicates that America should be “great”:

The Donald's website shows a calm business leader ready for his next huge deal.

Not everyone likes the hat, though.

A hot take of a different cloth, the product description reads, “Help us #MakeAmericaReadAgain! Reading increases empathy, chills you out, keeps your brain sharp, and can even help fight prejudice.”
