The Trump White House is sticking by the president’s assertion that the multiple women who have accused him of sexual assault and harassment over the years are lying.

In a White House press briefing on Friday, CBS News reporter Jacqueline Alemany asked press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders about a subpoena recently issued by one of Trump’s accusers, as well as the president’s continued denial that he harassed or assaulted any of his 16 accusers.
ALEMANY: Obviously sexual harassment has been in the news. At least 16 women accused the president of sexually harassing them throughout the course of the campaign. Last week, during a press conference in the Rose Garden, the president called these accusations fake news. Is the official White House position that all these women are lying?
SANDERS: Yeah, we’ve been clear on that from the beginning, and the president’s spoken on it.
On a recording taped in 2005, Trump admitted to kissing and groping women without their consent: “I just start kissing them — it’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab ’em by the pussy.”
But Sanders’s flat denial echoed one Trump made during a press conference in the Rose Garden last week, when he called the allegations “totally fake news” and “made-up stuff.”
Now Trump’s presidential campaign is being subpoenaed by one of the women who accused him, a former Apprentice contestant named Summer Zervos. Zervos and her lawyer, Gloria Allred, are asking the presidential campaign for any documents pertaining to “any woman alleging that Donald J. Trump touched her inappropriately” over the course of the 2016 campaign.
