If you haven’t yet heard of Foxcatcher, you might be inclined to think it’s a movie about foxes. But you would be wrong. The independent biographical drama, starring Steve Carell and Channing Tatum, is about the relationship between Olympic wrestler Mark Schultz and the creepy coach who killed his brother. It is, emphatically, not about foxes.

What if, for instance, it were more Fantastic Mr. Fox and less Steve-Carell-with-murdery-prosthetic-nose?
That’s precisely the question YouTube user Jonathan Hartwig must have asked when he made a mash-up of the acclaimed Carrell film and Wes Anderson’s 2009 stop-motion animated comedy. The result is nothing short of masterful.
